The task was to create an illustration depicting any stage of Manuka honey production. The decision was harvesting.
Using the brand colours, I tried to keep it soft and whimsical but also make it very easy to decipher what exactly the image is meant to represent without overwhelming the viewer.
The beekeeper illustrated is Mr. Bryce Hooton, Manukora's founding beekeeper who happens to be 100% blind.
